A complete price comparison guide to every major Amazon repricer and repricing software tool – updated for 2023.
Video: What I Learned About Repricers Researching This Article
This video is a supplement to the main article below, where I cover the top 5 things I learned about Amazon repricers while researching this article:
My Brief Commentary On Amazon Repricing Software
Automated Amazon repricing software is a complicated and “love / hate” topic for Amazon sellers (or at least this Amazon seller).
On one hand, repricing manually is painstaking if you have more than a small number items in your Amazon inventory. On the other hand, Amazon repricing software is subject to severe limitations by Amazon, leaving FBA sellers unable to reprice a certain percentage of their inventory (and what’s worse: Repricing software companies don’t admit these limitations. More on this in a future article…)
Update: After doing research for this article, I realized current repricing options are so bad that I created my own. It’s called NeuroPrice – the first repricer with no data blindspots. Try it free here.
So the dilemma becomes: Reprice manually on Amazon and get maximum precision, or turn over your inventory to repricing software and get maximum speed with some major downsides (again, more on this soon)? Or rely on Amazon’s free, built in repricer (which is worse than both options)?
Top questions about Amazon repricers
I’ll dissect all these questions in the near future, but this article is for Amazon sellers who absolutely totally cannot live without repricing software, and want to know:
- What software is cheapest?
- What Amazon repricing software has the best features for the money?
- Which Amazon repricers have no monthly fee, but take a percentage of your inventory?
How Many Amazon Repricing Tools Are There?
I counted 35 (and I probably missed some).
(These other so-called “complete list of Amazon repricers” online aren’t even close).
Of every category of software you might want for your Amazon business (scanning apps, feedback software, reimbursement software, listing software, etc), repricers are the most saturated. 35 is an insane number.
For that reason, not every repricer is included in this pricing guide. There are two categories of Amazon repricer I left out…
Which Repricers Were Excluded
- Repricers focusing on Amazon sellers outside the US.
- Repricers from companies that technically have repricers bundled in with other products, but don’t advertise it on their website.
How Do Amazon Repricers Charge?
The most common pricing scheme for Amazon repricers is a monthly charge based on number of SKUs in your inventory.
Other repicers (primarily those for larger megasellers) charge a percentage of your monthly Amazon sales.
A few charge a flat monthly rate based on your Amazon revenue (not the number of SKUs). (Personally I would not recommend this pricing structure for small to midsize sellers).
And there are other Amazon repricers that don’t advertise their price, and request you contact them for a quote (these are always the very expensive ones).
How Do Repricers Differentiate Themselves?
With a such a huge variation in prices, as well as a large number of Amazon repricers, how do they differentiated themselves?
I’ve studied the websites for every repricer out there, and there’s only four ways you see repricers try to stand out:
- Being Cheap
- “Winning the Buy Box”
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Repricing Speed
The last three of these claims is extremely dubious, for reasons I’ll expose in a future article. For now, I’ll say that the last three things are almost entirely marketing, and not rooted in any discernible benefit to sellers.
But if you want to know why there’s such a huge price variation, the list above is one ostensible reason. The other is that some of these Amazon repricers come bundled with other products (like inventory management tools, etc).
But now, let’s get into it:

Notes: RepriceIQ (formerly NuPrice) used to have a standout feature that set it apart, namely not being Amazon API-dependent, which gave it the ability to “see” the lowest 5 FBA offers with none of the blindspots that afflict other repricers. In 2021, they removed this and became API dependent. Unfortunately what was left was a very basic repricer.

The only one I’ve ever tried is RepriceIt, as it’s the cheapest and my inventory has hardly ever exceeded 500 units. It has an option called “Intelligent Repricing,” which every time I’ve tried it my sales have come to an immediate dead stop. And yet, this is the only option that makes sense to use, since it moves the price around based on a host of factors, i.e. condition, seller feedback, current rank, etc. All other options simply have to do with the usual matching or undercutting the lowest price on everything, which to my mind doesn’t even equate to running an actual and legitimate business.
I’ve never tried one of the repricers that makes claims about “artificial intelligence” or “machine learning” but everything I hear is that the outcome is always less than desirable and that repricing companies are not transparent about what these technologies they upcharge for even do.
I just tried repriceit for 10 days. Yes, the Intelligent Repricing feature is wacky. Sounds like a fancy algorithmic application but I mostly saw it take the New Buy Box price and calculate your price (70% of my SKUs are FBA Used) by whatever figure you’ve input. So if there was a New price of $100, mine was $99.90 and the next closest FBA Used was say $11.00. Way off. Not competitive.
It also didn’t seem to calculate all my inventory. Yes, I know that it won’t reprice if there aren’t any competing offers and they turn that into an ItemNotRepriced txt file, but I’m talking about 1,000s of SKUs missing.
Now I’m back to Amazon’s repricer. I wish there was an app that could simply do those upload forms quick and easy – come on, Peter, get your developer on it! No way I’d pay hundreds of dollars for any of those other repricers.
Hello Peter,
Which software would you recommend for pricing new books for FBA?
I’m going to cover this in-depth in an article coming up in the next few weeks.
