Major oversight in my last article on manual repricing, pointed out by a reader (he didn’t include an email address so I can’t thank him directly): Amazon does have a feature that allows you to see your FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) competition only when repricing.
As repeated ad nauseum on this site and in Amazon Autopilot, I strongly believe that with well-ranked books and media, you are only repricing against your FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) competition and no one else.
Here’s the update: at the top of the “all inventory view” is a link that reads “low price settings.” Click that, and you can select an option that will only show you your FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) competition. This is a HUGE advancement. (Thanks Amazon).
It appears that this feature is new-ish (it still reads “new” next to the link), so a lot of people (including me) may have missed it.
